Amanda Brugel

(February 27th of 2010 to Toronto ON) Pointe Claire is a secluded community in this part of the island of Montreal called the West Island. A lot of people who aren't aware of they mistakenly believe they are on the West Island extends westward from Montreal. It is actually the West Island includes everything westward from Lachine. Lachine. Amanda Brugel's birthplace has been frequently cited, however her short visit to the West Island wasn't. Brugel developed on Courtice located just outside Oshawa within Ontario. Her initial ambition was to pursue a career as an actress However, following a dramatic expansion, she and her partner could no longer dance with her. In Brugel's case it was because of the advice by her drama instructor at her high school which pushed her to the path she wanted. Her teacher invited her to audition for a part in the school's production. The school's production was a success and she was selected to play the lead part in Anne of Green Gables after she had a go at. The show led her to receive the award of a Fine Arts Talent Scholarship at York University where she attended the Theatre Program and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2000. Brugel's career spans over 20 years and she's performed in more than 60 shows including big screen productions and smaller ones. Her most notable role was that of Rita (pictured beneath) in the television show The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the sole Canadian in the Season 1 The Handmaid's Tale cast as well as appearing only on occasion, was the only Canadian.
